As if her "new" face does not look bad enough, check out her legs... yuck

For those who dont know, this is Heidi from the hills. she had so much work done to her face, legs and backside ( i think). prior to all of this i think she was beautiful, now she looks like a science project gone wrong. poor thing.

I know im late but...

I just finished watching Oprah. It was the episode that Monique's brother was being interviewed. That interview was very weird and disturbing to me. I feel that the family was more concerned with how the family "looked" rather than what her brother has actually done to Monique. I felt as if they were saying she didn't have the right to go public with what happened b/c a) it wasn't discussed with them first and b) after the molestation she was "sisterly" with her big brother.

People react different in situations, no one knows why she did not instantly hate her brother but it obvious that she thinks he is a monster now, why take anything away from that? allow her to be in her feelings. allow her to go through her pain as she see's fit as long as it is not illegal and/or unhealthy.

Charles Grant can go ahead and forget about Nene Leakes standing behind him as he faces involuntary manslaughter charges… Nene and her husband Gregg both released statements today pledging their devotion to one another. Pop the hood to check ‘em out!

Not only does Nene deny even really knowing Charles “like that,” she also claims she has NEVER cheated on Gregg:

“Greg and I are still together – not separated or divorced. I have not left my husband for NFL player Charles Grant, and I don’t know how those rumors started. Charles Grant is no more than a casual acquaintance of mine since hosting one of his charity events in Atlanta about a year ago. I really have not had any contact with him since the Super Bowl, where I congratulated him for his big win along with other fans. I have never cheated on my husband, and reports of infidelity on my part are simply untrue. Like any married couple, we’re going through some marital problems, and working toward a path of recovery that’s personal and private. Our marital issues have nothing to do with infidelity on my behalf.”

We gotta give her props on one thing. Gregg must love her dirty drawers because this man backs her up on EVERYTHING!!! Not content to let his wife’s words stand on their own. Gregg issued a statement of his own:

“I stand behind my wife 100 percent! NeNe and I have been married for 13 years, and she has been a faithful wife to me. We are a normal married couple, going through ups and downs, just like any other couple. Yes, we’re experiencing a marital storm right now, but I believe with God’s guidance, we’ll get through it. Right now, our marriage is not a perfect one, but rumors and innuendos, accusing my wife of infidelity has been damaging to the reputations of NeNe and Mr. Grant. I am not an injured party, and accusations that NeNe has done something to hurt me or jeopardize our family are false and far from the truth.”

Nene, we don’t blame you girl… Make it work with your husband because um, that other dude is looking like the only NFL team he should be playing for is the “BAD NEWS” Bears.

**back story**
Real Housewives Of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes has fallen for ‘bad-boy’ NFL star Charles Grant as her marriage to husband Greg Leakes crumbles. The hulking 6-foot-3, 290lb former New Orleans Saints defense linesman was indicted on a charge of involuntary manslaughter in Feb 2008, after pregnant Korynda Reed, 23, was shot to death outside a Blakely, Georgia, nightclub. Grant has always claimed that he was innocent in the horrific crime. His trial is set to begin May 3.

“Greg and NeNe split up a few months ago and she is still living in the family home while her husband comes and goes. He knows about Charles Grant but NeNe says that she is s free woman now and can do what she wants. Greg really loves NeNe and he wants to save the marriage but they have a lot of problems right now.”

The feisty reality star has fallen hard for 31-year-old Grant who has told her he is innocent of the shooting of Reed and her unborn child, the source says. Grant – who lives in Louisiana – is trying to get a new contract with the Atlanta Falcons so that he can be closer to NeNe, a former stripper who has found fame on the Bravo reality series.

The NFL star also has relatives in Atlanta and sees Leakes every time he visits the area while she has jetted-out to various locations to see him too. The source adds: “NeNe believes that somebody is innocent until proven guilty and she is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

“In addition Greg and NeNe’s marriage has been under pressure since the arrest of his stepson Bryson.

“NeNe is now the main bread winner and she wants a more lavish lifestyle which is something that Grant could give her if he lands a multi-million dollar new contract.

“It’s unlikely she will file for a quick divorce while she is still on The Real Housewives Of Atlanta but she has told friends that she has developed strong feelings for Grant and that does not bode well for her marriage.”

Leakes, 42, who is originally from Queens, New York, met her current husband while she was working as an exotic dancer called Silk at an Atlanta club.

Your child can lie too

working in child care for may years has taught me a lot of things. The first thing and most important is, don't jump to conclusions just because a child is saying it. Children are starting to lie more and more and it is becoming very dangerous. being a teacher is a tough job besides everything your career cnd be in the hands of the very students you teach.
Today a parent came up to me and said his child said a teacher ( not his teacher) hit him in the head with a toy hammer. instantly my gut told me this was a bogus story BUT b/c of my don't jump to conclusion policy as well as the concern of the parent and my job as the director i had to investigate it. to make a long story short the child told me that the teacher didn't do it no one hit him and that he didn't know why he said what he said.

This is one of my students that yearns for attention, he acts out, he throws tantrums, whatever it takes. he is a very smart child but his impulsive behavior makes him difficult.
After speaking to the parent he admitted that children can lie and that he was happy i took the time out to sort it out ( of course i would have) he didn't seem mad or put off but the whole situation has me questioning a lot of things in this profession.

Is it year of the butt cracks?

I swear i have seen more butt cracks then i would like. How do women walk around with their behinds out. It is soooo disgusting. how do u not feel that gust of air on your backside. I would really like to tap some of them and say " ummm do you know your crack is showing?" lol.
Low rise jeans went out a couple of years ago and even when they were in i HATED IT!!! please ladies. i beg you, cover up your crack. Please and thank you!

why me, why the morning?

So all that know me know I'm not a morning person so when my commute is not smooth i tend to be moody for a while. While on the train this morning there was this woman with her 2 sons.at first i thought it was about 5 kids but soon found out i was mistaken. These two children were so loud screaming, yelling fighting the ENTIRE train ride. The whole time the mom was tuning in every now and then to YELL stop. She was so into her book that she didn't seem to have the time to or patience to deal with them. that was the LONGEST train ride in a while.
Why do parents get on public transportation and give such little attention to their children? why inconvenience others with the noise early in the morning? i work with children all day so i know its not that easy to keep children quiet but some parents don't even TRY!

our youth???? so sad

I know thos story is a few days old but it is still shocking. This morning im hearing the male is also being charged with 2 other murders and his bail is now 6 million dollars CASH. WTH is going on with the youth?

Three 19-year-old’s are believed to be behind the brutal shootings that claimed the lives of Nia Haqq and Michael Muchioki last weekend…
A Jersey City woman whose brother was charged in the execution-style killings of two men earlier this year was among three teens arrested today for a similarly ruthless double-slaying: Sunday’s killings of a young couple as they returned home from their engagement party.
Darmelia Lawrence, 19, who sought to provide an alibi for her brother after his February arrest, was charged with felony murder, armed robbery and weapons counts in the shooting deaths of Michael Muchioki, 27, and Nia Haqq, 25, who were buried together in a Linden cemetery today afternoon.
Two of Lawrence’s friends — Latonia Bellamy and Shiquan Bellamy, thought to be cousins — also were charged. Both are 19 and from Jersey City.
Lawrence and Latonia Bellamy were each ordered held on $1 million bail during an appearance in the Central Judicial Court in Jersey City.
Shiquan Bellamy has been in custody since Tuesday, when he was picked up for questioning in the killings and was found to have drugs, a violation of his parole from an earlier drug case. Today, he was ordered held in lieu of $2 million bail.
Shiquan Bellamy’s arrest, as well as forensic evidence and phone records, led to a break in the case and charges against the teens, authorities said.
Muchioki, a software engineer who grew up in Jersey City, and Haqq, an associate producer for an affiliate of the Nickelodeon television network, were returning home from their engagement celebration in New Brunswick around 3 a.m. Sunday when the suspects allegedly robbed them and shot them execution-style.
Muchioki suffered a shotgun blast to the back of the head. His fiancee was shot in the back of the head with a pistol, Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio said. The killers stole gift cards the couple had received at the party, along with cell phones and Haqq’s engagement ring.
The crime echoed in brutality, if not in precise detail, to the double-murder allegedly carried out by Lawrence’s brother two months earlier. In that case, Ronald “Diddy” Lawrence, 21, and another man executed two men with gunshots to the head in what DeFazio previously called a “premeditated and planned” robbery.
Today’s arrests were announced as hundreds of mourners crowded into Monumental Baptist Church in Jersey City for Muchioki’s memorial service. Deputy Mayor Kabili Tayari broke the news inside the church, drawing thunderous applause from those gathered inside.
“We’re happy,” Muchioki’s mother, Sandra, said of the arrests. “We are so thankful.”
Haqq’s mother, Majeeda Haqq, called the charges a first step in what she expects to be a long march toward closure.
“I’m relieved, but I won’t be totally relieved until we go to trial and we get some answers,” she said.
Nia Haqq’s funeral service was held Thursday at Newark Symphony Hall. She and Muchioki, who were to be married in Aruba next April, were instead buried side by side this afternoon at Linden’s Rosedale Cemetery. Their families placed matching wedding bands on their fingers.
That was a nice touch that the families of Nia and Michael had them buried side by side. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their loved ones.

WHAT?!?!?!?

NEW YORK -- Santonio Holmes was walking his dog at home Sunday night when he received an unexpected phone call. It was the Pittsburgh Steelers, telling their talented but troubled wide receiver he had been traded to the New York Jets for a fifth-round pick in this year's draft.

Mike & Mike in the Morning

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter breaks down the Santonio Holmes trade from the Steelers to the Jets. Schefter says this changes the outlook of the draft a bit now that the Jets don't need to look for a WR and the Steelers are in the market for one.

"I was very shocked at first," Holmes said during a conference call Monday. "But, I knew it definitely opened up a lot more doors and a better opportunity for me to start over."

Holmes won't make his Jets regular-season debut until Week 5 of the regular season after the NFL suspended him earlier in the day without pay for the first four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

"We understood that was part of it, but we just felt like even with that, it was worth it," general manager Mike Tannenbaum said. "Obviously, a guy with his production and at 26 years old, he would not have been available if these indiscretions didn't happen, and obviously the suspension. But, with that said, we just felt like the risk and the price was reasonable for us."

Unafraid lately to add players with checkered pasts, Tannenbaum said he, coach Rex Ryan and owner Woody Johnson had "a robust debate and robust discussions" before deciding to acquire Holmes.

"We're not going into this with our eyes closed," Tannenbaum said.

NFL Nation: Holmes Trade Reaction

The Jets' acquisition of Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes for a fifth-round draft pick has people talking. Blog

Holmes, the 2009 Super Bowl MVP, is eligible to participate in the team's offseason program and in all preseason practices and games. He would be suspended for an entire season if he violates the league's policy again.

"To go back down the same road, make the same mistakes, won't be accepted," Holmes said.

Holmes is coming off his best season, with 79 catches for 1,248 yards and five touchdowns. But he is also facing a lawsuit in Florida from a woman who claims he threw a glass at her, cutting her above the eye, in an Orlando nightclub. A witness has since taken responsibility, according to Holmes' lawyer.

Holmes was also arrested in 2008 for possession of marijuana, and involved in a domestic violence incident in 2006; the misdemeanor charges were later dismissed. He was also recently accused of telling a fan to "kill urself" on his Twitter page, but implied that his account was hacked.

"It wasn't me," Holmes said. "I never tried to defend myself on that topic among anyone on Twitter or among anyone that tried to ask me for interviews. I would definitely be accountable for my actions if I did say it."

Missed Valuable Players?

The 5-foot-11 Holmes, a first-round pick out of Ohio State in 2006, has one year remaining on his contract and will essentially be on a 12-game tryout for a long-term deal. The Jets have taken the same one-season approach with Braylon Edwards, another wide receiver who came to New York with baggage, and cornerback Antonio Cromartie, who was acquired from San Diego even though he was dealing with paternity issues.

Holmes has 235 catches for 3,835 yards and 20 touchdowns, but his troubles off the field could explain the relatively low price the Jets paid to get him. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Monday, citing anonymous sources, that the Steelers were prepared to release Holmes if they couldn't find a trade partner.

"I don't think I need to dig myself out of any hole," Holmes said. "These guys have opened their arms to me right now and all I have to do is walk into them."

The deal came together quickly as talks between the teams began late Saturday night. Holmes gives the Jets a game-breaking player for an offense that already included second-year quarterback Mark Sanchez, wide receivers Edwards and Jerricho Cotchery, tight end Dustin Keller, running backs Shonn Greene, Leon Washington and the recently signed LaDainian Tomlinson.

"Obviously, there's been some bumps in the road in the past and hopefully he's learned from that," Tannenbaum said. "We understand that there's risks, significant risks."

Despite being benched earlier in the 2008 season for the marijuana arrest, Holmes made a number of big plays for Pittsburgh -- none bigger than in the Super Bowl against Arizona. His tiptoe catch in the corner of the end zone of a 6-yard pass from Ben Roethlisberger with 35 seconds left sent the Steelers to a 27-23 victory.

The Jets clearly see Holmes as another major piece in making their own Super Bowl run after finishing a win short last season.

"I know for a fact that's why they brought me here," Holmes said. "The opportunity presented itself for the Jets to acquire me, and I'm definitely here for a reason."

Getting back to the old me... Day one :-(

So, my first day of "getting back to me" went ok.
For breakfast I has a wheat bagel with cream cheese and a medium hot chocolate ( my guilty pleasure). That wasn't the best choice of breakfast BUT I have to slowly give up the chocolate. I went from a large to a medium. For lunch I had rice and water. I had apple slices a little later, then I had half a turkey and cheese on wheat bread. Finally for dinner I had backed chicken breast, rice and corn on the cob with a mistic orange carrot.

Little girls with bright painted nails.

Is that a new trend, I've seen so many of my kids (student) come to school with brightly painted nails and different color nails. Mind you my kids are 4-5. When I was younger it was a no no. I know times have changed but I really don't like it, call me old fashion but what's wrong with clear polish of a light pink or brown if color is necessary? It's all a little too "grown" for me.

So Saturday I went to mobays

It was my sons bday and he, myself and my SO ( significant other) went for brunch. Ive been there a few times in the past. I love it. The cornbread is such a treat. The chicken is seasoned so well it keeps my mouth wanting more. The decor is very comfortable and sophistacated. My one issue which has been always my issue with mobay's is the service. It's is very slow and there seems to b one waiter. Besides that mobay's gets a thumbs up.

Why did I get married too

I went to see why did I get married too and I have mixed feelings on it. One thing I must say is I saw the movie with out seeing very may commercials, all I knew was there were going to b some twist and turns. The movie was cry funny and kept me laughing. My favorite character was completely funny!!!! Many may hater her loud "ghetto" was of acting and talking buy i loved it. Along with her body, hair, and wardrobe.
All the men looked like they worked out ALOT prior to the movie, bodies were on point! Even Tyler looked like he worked out a little, Lol. Janet looked like she got her breast done, maybe it was the weight gain but those knockers were HUGE. The other girl looked ok, I liked her haircut I would tell ppl to go see the movie b/c it was good humor, had some really good parts.

There were a few corny spots in the move especially towards the end. While there was a shocking ending I was NOT please by the way it ended. All in all I give it a 3.5 out of 5.

All I can say is, be careful what u wish for. I've wanted to fain weight for YEARS and now that I have... Not a huge fan of it, lol.So what am into do? Well I think i want to lose at least 4lbs. I don't want to go back down to 121 but 134 is not for me. So I have set a goal, in order to do it I have to get my food and excersise game on. I will work on that this weekend and start a new week with a née frame of mind.
